"True recovery is rooted in self-preservation, authenticity, and intentionally designing a life that reflects your values."

His Story

A decade of lived experience and professional expertise.

Eric brings over a decade of personal experience in recovery from substance and alcohol misuse, combined with extensive professional expertise in the behavioral health field. Before co-founding GCN with his wife, Sarah, he worked directly with individuals, families, treatment programs and private practitioners. During his career, Eric has built enduring relationships with clinical and medical professionals who share his commitment to helping individuals achieve change.

Eric’s personal and professional journey gives him a deeply authentic perspective on the recovery process. Having faced his own battle with addiction, he stood at a defining crossroads—choose meaningful change or risk losing himself and his family. That turning point reshaped his life and fuels his work today. Through lived experience and years in the field, Eric understands not only what recovery requires, but what it makes possible.

He has witnessed the courage it takes for individuals and families to rebuild, to restore trust, and to create lasting, sustainable change. His work is rooted in the belief that transformation is possible—and that no one is beyond the reach of renewal.

Eric is passionate about fitness and wellness. An avid runner and a recipient of the Abbott World Marathon Majors Medal. He has completed 10 marathons worldwide, raising significant funds for charities that provide scholarships for individuals who cannot afford behavioral health services. He enjoys traveling, live music, outdoor adventures, skiing, and immersing himself in art and culinary experiences—passions he draws on to forge authentic, meaningful connections with the individuals he serves.

Eric believes that true recovery is rooted in self-preservation, authenticity, and intentionally designing a life that reflects one’s values and goals.
